Barium Sulphate / Barium Sulfate is a white powdery substance that naturally occurs as mineral barite, which is the main commercial source of barium and other materials prepared from it. Barium Sulphate exhibits complete solubility in concentrated sulphuric acid with sparingly or no solubility in other acids, alcohols and water. Barium Sulfate is odorless.
